About The Owners

ASM Ibrahim is the founder of SIMCO Electronics and started its equipment’s business from the year 1991. During his final year in Physics Master’s course at Dhaka University, Bangladesh back in the year 1988 he envisioned about such a company for applying his learning in electronics to make electronics equipment’s to facilitate electronics practical classes for the students studying Physics in Colleges & Universities throughout Bangladesh, which ultimately resulted into the fruition of SIMCO Electronics. Over the years, he developed almost 20 to 30 electronics equipment’s to make it to easily understand the working principles of electronics components and circuits by students of Physics in their practical classes of the electronics course. Today, he has 4 full time staffs looking after the administrative tasks and 2 workers, who assemble those electronics equipment’s. Now SIMCO customers are a considerable numbers of Colleges & Universities in Dhaka and outside Dhaka as well. Also, SIMCO has a strong presence in other non-educational sectors, like medical equipment’s and couple of other scientific equipment’s for use by department of environment and defense. In addition, some of the equipment’s or devices are imported from outside of Bangladesh sources to satisfy some of the local demands. Now SIMCO is endeavoring to assemble and make more innovative educational electronics equipment’s in the days to come ahead for the ever increasing learning requirements by the ever growing numbers of students in Colleges & Universities to keep in pace with the fast growing technological advancement over the world in science and electronics, which are deeply connected to each other.
